  • During each class, students will follow asana, which is a sequence of movements and breathing techniques, and which Jo Ann may adjust to your ability or physical need. In fact, asana means “comfortable seat”, and so you will get the body ready to sit comfortably in preparation to align your body and mind, and prepare it for meditation. Iyengar says in Light on Life, “asana calms and strengthens the nervous system while yogic breathing or pranayama calms and strengthens the mind.”

    Classes are either 90-minutes, or 120-minutes in length.

  • Prenatal yoga is an excellent way to stay in shape during pregnancy. Jo Ann will guide you through countless poses to improve strength and flexibility for this very special period in your life. Most importantly you will learn breathing techniques that will help your muscles stay relaxed and help you reduce tension throughout your body.

  • Shiatsu (指圧) is the Japanese bodywork that applies thumb pressure on points throughout the body to relieve blockages and release vital energy, known as “chi”.

    This energy can positively facilitate your healing, encourage lymphatic drainage, and ease muscular pain.

  • Experience a healing and tranquil stay at my house on Grandpas Ranch Lane in Santa Fe! I offer three serene rooms on Airbnb.

    Nestled by the Santa Fe River biking trail and just 5 minutes from Meow Wolf, it's the perfect retreat. Each room accommodates one person, with an option to add one more for a fee. Maximum occupancy is six guests (two per room).
